Muslims around the world react to the death of Osama bin Laden.

When I saw the images from around the world of Muslims dancing in the streets in celebration of Osama bin Laden's victorious attack on the World Trade Center towers on 9-11, I knew we were at war with an evil movement. I began to follow the news as our courageous anti-jihadist bloggers quoted the overseas sources that were never covered in our American news media. I began to wonder why no one in the press reported these events until I learned of an Arabic term called "Dhimmi" and from this term comes the word "Dhimmitude" as defined in Wikipedia:
Dhimmitude is a neologism first found in French denoting an attitude of concession, surrender and appeasement towards Islamic demands. It is derived by adding the productive suffix -tude to the Arabic language adjective dhimmi, which literally means protected and refers to a non-Muslim subject of a sharia law state.
So it is no longer a surprise to me when our leftist news media grants so much free publicity to representatives of the Muslim community as long as those representatives happen to be from CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. To understand who CAIR is you must familiarize yourself with the crime of funding money to support terrorist activities. This crime was detailed at great length in the Dept. of Justice prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation in the trial in Dallas, Texas in 2008. Several stories exposing this were published in the Dallas Morning News newspaper. CAIR was identified in Federal Court as an unindicted co-conspirator in the case involving money raised in the United States and sent to finance the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

So now we have the news about the successful effort to locate and kill the greatest terrorist in the modern world, Osama bin Laden and we have reports from overseas of numerous riots staged by outraged Muslims protesting this act. We also have words from the Muslim leaders of Hamas who have condemned this act.
Jihad Watch reports:

Jerusalem: Muslims riot over bin Laden's death

But...but...I thought bin Laden was not a Muslim leader, and represented only a Tiny Minority of Extremists. Shouldn't these Muslims be dancing in the streets and passing out candy because the great Hijacker of the Religion of Peace is dead?

"Arabs Riot in Jerusalem Over Bin Laden's Demise, Hamas Angry," by Hillel Fendel for Israel National News, May 2 (thanks to Benedict):

Arabs in the village of Silwan, adjacent to the City of David neighborhood in Jerusalem, rioted Monday night in protest over the elimination of Osama Bin-Laden. The rioters were throwing stones at police and attempting to block roads....

Pro-Osama rally in Pakistan: "Bin Laden was the hero of the Muslim world and after his martyrdom he has won the title of great mujahed"

"Hundreds join Quetta rally to honour bin Laden," from AFP, May 2 (thanks to Benedict):

My note: It should be pointed out that the AFP link to the story in the International Herald Tribune is dead but the Cached version is available on Google here:

QUETTA: Hundreds took to the streets of Quetta on Monday to pay homage to Osama bin Laden, chanting death to America and setting fire to a US flag, witnesses and organisers said.

Angry participants belonging to a religious party in Quetta, the capital of southwestern province Baluchistan, were led by federal lawmaker Maulawi Asmatullah. They also torched a US flag before dispersing peacefully.

It was the first rally in Pakistan after the United States announced that bin Laden had been killed in an overnight commando mission in Pakistan.

“Bin Laden was the hero of the Muslim world and after his martyrdom he has won the title of great mujahed (Muslim fighter),” Asmatullah said.

And Fox News:

Hamas Leader Condemns Killing of Usama Bin Laden

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- The leader of the Palestinian militant Hamas government in Gaza has condemned the United States for killing Al Qaeda chief Usama bin Laden.
Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh says the operation is "the continuation of the American oppression and shedding of blood of Muslims and Arabs."
So back home what appears in the Cincinnati Enquirer today but a lengthy column on the editorial page by Krista Ramsey "Ramsey: Don't make bin Laden a litmus test for Muslims" containing a statement from the local representative of CAIR, Karen Dabdoub, who is the executive director of the Cincinnati Chapter the of Council on American-Islamic Relations. Oblivious of the fact that CAIR supports Hamas and Hamas condemned the killing of Osama bin Laden, CAIR wants everyone to believe they have no connection and no sympathies for Osama bin Laden. CAIR wants everyone to know that Osama bin Laden was not a Muslim leader. Maybe they should be asked to comment on this from Jihad Watch:
But why? After all, didn't Barack Obama say this tonight?

"We must also reaffirm that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader. He was a mass murderer of Muslims."

So why is the body of a mass murderer of Muslims being handled in accordance with Islamic tradition? Aren't U.S. officials thereby tacitly acknowledging that bin Laden was a Muslim leader, notwithstanding Barack Obama's protestations to the contrary?

And if Osama was indeed a Muslim leader, what are the implications of that for U.S. policy?

There's a question no one in official Washington will dare to answer.
And finally, if it were not for the Dhimmies in our news media we may have learned of the Muslim practice of Taqiyya that they use every day when talking to the non-Muslim media. But thanks to the anti-jihadists on the blogs we know all about the Qur'an sanctioned practice of Muslims lying to non-Muslims. Once again, I turn to Wikipedia for the definition:
The practice of concealing one's faith in dangerous circumstances originates in the Qur'an itself, which deems blameless those who disguise their beliefs in such cases. The practice of taqiyya in difficult circumstances is considered legitimate by Muslims of various persuasions. Sunni and Shi'a commentators alike observe that Q 16:106 in particular refers to the case of 'Ammar b. Yasir, who was forced to renounce his beliefs under physical duress and torture.
