Fundamental differences between Islam and our Constitutional freedom.

  

The substitute title for this article could be:

Barack Hussein Obama admits that Islam is NOT a religion.

Barack Hussein Obama has attempted to condemn the Muslim rioting in Kandahar, Afghanistan that resulted in the brutal deaths of 20 guards and staff at the U.N. compound there because some Islamic clerics had incited thousands of faithful followers to protest the burning of a Koran by a Florida preacher. Obama was quoted as saying:

"However, to attack and kill innocent people in response is outrageous, and an affront to human decency and dignity. No religion tolerates the slaughter and beheading of innocent people, and there is no justification for such a dishonorable and deplorable act...."

So in a technical sense Obama was correct, NO RELIGION would tolerate such a barbaric act, so that excludes Islam from being considered a religion since Islamic clerics encouraged the riots to defend Islam in the first place. But the larger question concerns the fundamental differences between our Constitutional Republic and the Islamic Sharia Laws that rule that Muslim country and every other Muslim country. The first and foremost freedom guaranteed by our U. S. Constitution is Freedom of Speech which encompasses Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Assembly and Freedom of the Press. When the framers of our Constitution were debating the Bill of Rights, which contain the first ten amendments of the Constitution, they were very much influenced by the writings of the French philosopher Voltaire who was a strong advocate for free speech. Voltaire has often been credited with the famous saying: “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” How different this idea is compared to the vociferous objections heard around the world from Muslims who demand death to anyone who criticize Islam.

Barack Hussein Obama attended school in Indonesia, and many people think he was actually enrolled there as a Muslim. Obama studied Islam to the point where he can recite the passages in the Qur'an in fluent Arabic some 30 years afterward. He has publicly stated that the Muslim call to prayers is the “most beautiful sound he has ever heard”. Yet when he condemns the barbaric act in Kandahar and says “No religion tolerates the slaughter and beheading of innocent people,” he conveniently overlooks one important passage in that so-called “holy book” he has memorized, Sera 8 Verse 12 that quotes this instruction to all Muslims from their Prophet Mohammad:

"Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: 'I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.'

And lets not forget that the current ruler of Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai, who has the endorsement of Barack Hussein Obama, has also vehemently objected to the Florida preacher who burned the Qur'an, so it wasn’t just the Muslim clerics who stoked the flames of violence. It was the leader of the Afghanistan government (who is also another Muslim).

In America, in the later half of the 20th Century, the leftist sympathizers in our news media have conspired to cover up the Islamic connection to violence and terrorism both at home and abroad. Apart from the numerous writings by former Muslims who have risked their lives to condemn the violent commands found in the Qur’an, many statesmen in the past have also done so. Among them was British Member of Parliament William Ewart Gladstone (1809–1898) who called the Qur'an an "Accursed Book" and once held it up during a session of Parliament, declaring: "So long as there is this book there will be no peace in the world."

Reid: 'We'll look into' Quran burning

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told CBS's Bob Schieffer on Sunday that some members of Congress were considering some kind of action in response to the Florida Quran burning that  sparked a murderous riot at a United Nations complex in Afghanistan and other mayhem.

"Ten to 20 people have been killed," Reid said on "Face the Nation," but refused to say flat-out that the Senate would pass a resolution condemning pastor Terry Jones.

"We’ll take a look at this of course...as to whether we need hearings or not, I don’t know," he added.

Traitorous scum Harry Reid (DemocRAT) and Lindsey Graham (RINO slug) both are considering making Quran-burning against the law. Not Bibles, not Torahs, JUST Qur’ans.
