United we stand, Divided we fall.

Here is something every good American should think about, whether you are a Tea Party supporter, standing up for Pro-Life, supporting the Second Amendment or fighting the spread of global Islamification: United we stand, Divided we fall.

Patrick Henry used the phrase in his last public speech, given in March 1799, in which he denounced The Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions. Clasping his hands and swaying unsteadily, Henry declaimed, “Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall. Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs.” At the end of his oration, Henry fell into the arms of bystanders and was carried almost lifeless into a nearby tavern. Two months afterward, he had died.

I frequently visit several pro-American, patriotic web sites and blogs where I find useful information to identify threats to my country whether they be in the form of leftist legislation to restrict my freedom and liberty or physical threats of violence against my fellow citizens by Muslim terrorists. The information contained on these web sites and blogs is almost never publicized in the mainstream news media. The one odd fact about many of these sources is that many of them hold low opinions about other web sites and blogs or people that carry similar points of view. And by low opinions, I mean I often read some downright insulting comments about the individuals who write the other web sites and blogs. I am not going to mention the names of these web sites but hopefully, if anyone reads this and spends time visiting the more popular sources I’ve referred to you will understand who I am talking about.

Long before the dawn of the Internet I got my education in politics from The John Birch Society and the New York State Conservative Party. Even 40 years ago I recall how the liberal news media slandered the good people referred to as Birchers as being right-wing extremists. Now we are facing a greater enemy than communism ever presented, an enemy that has crept into almost every county in America, an enemy that is being financed by foreign governments that hate our way of life and have billions of dollars in oil revenue to finance our destruction.

Granted, it takes a certain amount of ego to put your name out in front when you write a continuous stream of stories on a daily basis. But some of these personal attacks seem more based on jealousy for the success of a competitor than anything else while a few seem too focused on some moral issue that would prevent them from standing shoulder to shoulder with an ally who doesn't part his hair on the same side you do. That brings me to the point of this post, because if we are to win the fight to protect our great country then we must become united in our efforts and put aside our petty differences or else, divided we will fall.
