Preaching to the choir about the threat of Islam.

"I can't understand whether you're a kafir trying to make people hate Islam with your commentaries or whether you're a Muslim trying to make people read the Quraan"

So begins an article posted today on Jihad Watch about another piece of hate mail they received from a writer in Syria. In my blog, Conscience of a Conservative, I am most certainly, not, one of the great cooks that stir the pot. I am more like the janitor that sweeps the kitchen floor who happens to write once in awhile about the dangers of Islam. http://oldironsides-thesilentmajority.blogspot.com/2011/01/cutting-off-your-nose-to-spite-your.html But I have often wondered about something similar to what this writer said: "I can't understand whether you're a kafir trying to make people hate Islam with your commentaries or whether you're a Muslim trying to make people read the Quraan." Here is my reason.

We all know of the violent passages in the Qur'an where Muhammad commands his followers to hate the unbelievers and wage war on them. We know this as well as the Muslim clerics do who use those same verses to remind their moderate followers of their obligation to Jihad. So my greatest concern is do we ever "try to make people read the Qur'an?" and in doing so remind some moderate Muslims of the same thing their radical clerics remind them of?

The Qur'an is the most violent book of hatred in use by any religion in the world. Hopefully, the only people we convince to read it are non-Muslims who need to be educated in the truth. We don't need to point out to Muslims that their prophet has commanded them to hate us, kill us and wage war on us.
