File this under WE TOLD YOU SO. Two incredibly revealing news stories in the same newspaper on the same day. Obama's Death Panels WERE REAL and so is the threat of Sharia Law.

The total control over the news we read and hear every day from the liberal mainstream news media must build up a lot of internal pressure from the effort to manage and contain the news. Once in awhile when that pressure builds up it produces a few cracks through which a little light of truth begins to shine through. Today's newspaper showed us two of those cracks and gives us the right to claim that we told you so but you didn't listen. Here are the examples.
AP headline:
White House reverses on end-of-life rule.
By Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar

WASHINGTON – Reversing a potentially controversial decision, the Obama administration will drop references to end-of-life counseling from the ground rules for Medicare’s new annual checkup, the White House said Wednesday.

The original House version of the overhaul legislation sought to expand coverage, allowing for discussions {{ for voluntary end-of-life planning}} every few years. But the plan was dropped after Sarah Palin and other Republicans raised the specter of “death panels” deciding the fate of vulnerable seniors. Those charges were later debunked by several nonpartisan fact-checking groups.

End-of-life counseling unexpectedly surfaced again late last year in a Medicare regulation that spelled out what would be covered in a new annual checkup, or wellness visit, authorized by the healthcare law.
Over a year ago when the healthcare bill was being discussed,  conservatives discovered the secret plan to use panels of government bureaucrats to decide if further medical treatment should be withheld from the aged to save money. So-called fact checking groups, mostly liberal sympathizers, denounced these warnings as fear mongering by right-wing extremists they called the "wingnuts". Well, here are the sources that we cited to justify our warnings. The first was an article in the Chicago Sun-Times that revealed the source about Euthanasia in Obama’s health care plan. The second story was posted on WorldNet Daily News. Click the links to read the entire story.
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Rahm's brother, tapped for White House health care policy advisor spot.
By Lynn Sweet on February 14, 2009 6:41 AM

According to his NIH bio, Dr. Emanuel is "widely published on the ethics of clinical research, advance care directives, end-of-life issues, euthanasia, the ethics of managed care, and the physician-patient relationship, Dr. Emanuel's articles have appeared in The New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Journal of American Medical Association, and many other medical and ethics journals. His book, The Ends of Human Life, has been widely praised and received the Rosenhaupt Memorial Book Award by the Woodrow Wilson Foundation.

WND reported earlier when Betsy McCaughey, the former New York state officer, told former presidential candidate Fred Thompson during an interview on his radio program the health care plan includes consultations for seniors on how to die.
"One of the most shocking things is page 425, where the Congress would make it mandatory absolutely that every five years people in Medicare have a required counseling session," she said. "They will tell [them] how to end their life sooner."

The proposal specifically calls for the consultation to recommend "palliative care and hospice" for seniors in their mandatory counseling sessions. Palliative care and hospice generally focus only on pain relief until death.
The second story has nothing to do with healthcare or Barack Hussein Obama. It concerns the Islamic control over the government of Pakistan and the obscene application of Islamic Sharia Law. Pakistan is a nuclear power that receives billions of dollars of U.S. military aid ostensibly to help us fight terrorism. Yet, despite this aid the leaders of this country continue to accept the influence of Sharia Law over its people. One part of Sharia Law as followed in Pakistan calls for the death penalty for anyone who commits blasphemy by insulting Islam. That law has been used as a weapon by some people who makes false claims against others and the Islamic courts deny the accused the rights to defend themselves. The governor of the Pakistan province of Punjab, Salman Taseer was an outspoken opponent of that blasphemy law and he was murdered by one of his military guards last Tuesday. The opening paragraph of the USA Today story describes the scene in court when the confessed murderer was brought in.
USA Today:
Death of Pakistani moderate praised

Lawyers showered the alleged killer of a Pakistani governor with rose petals when he arrived at court Wednesday and an influential Muslims scholars group praised  the assassination of the outspoken opponent of laws that order death for those who insult Islam.
Many will be quick to say that Islamic Sharia Law as applied to one country such as Pakistan has nothing to do with Muslims in America. The lawmakers in several states in the U.S. have tried to pass legislation to declare that U.S. courts cannot be influenced by any aspect of Sharia Law when hearing a case. We are reminded of the decision last year by a lower court in New Jersey that was eventually overturned that ruled a Muslim man could not be found guilty for raping his wife because he had a right to do so according to the Qur'an and Sharia Law. Here are two stories from 2007 and 2009 that describe the problem of Sharia Law as it is applied in Western culture.
Honor Killings in North America show extremes of Islam even after death.
Aqsa Parvez was brutally murdered by her devout Muslim father and brother in December of 2007. A year after her honor killing, Aqsa lay in an unmarked grave. Honor killing victims are undeserving of a headstone or marker. They are invisible, they shamed the family, they never lived. This is Islam.

Now it appears her murderers will not come to trial until 2011. Unmercifully murdered in 2007. Trial to being in 2011. Gender apartheid in Islam is ignored.

Atlas readers joined me in an effort to purchase a stone for Aqsa. The cemetery worked with me up until the murdering family put a stop to the headstone. When we attempted to purchase a plot, any plot, near Aqsa's poor, beaten body, we were told we could not. Everything was owned by the Islamic Society of North America.

Our struggle continued.  For the full story go here.
breitbart.com —  In yet another example of the Muslim "honor killings" that are becoming more common in the West, a father in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga has strangled to death his sixteen-year-old daughter, because she did not want to conform to Muslim requirements by wearing a headscarf.

More Honor Killings In The West, Yet No Outrage?
by  Pamela Geller
07/27/2009

“The struggle for women’s equality continues in many aspects of American life,” said Barack Obama in Cairo in June, “and in countries around the world.” Too bad Obama wasn’t speaking about Islam.

There have been three separate incidents of honor killing in the past week: seven women are dead in Canada, and one in Germany. All were Muslims. The world in the West is changing for women. This war being waged in our society by Islam is about women -- it’s about power, it’s about control.

Four other Muslim women died recently in a “car accident” near Kingston, Ontario, and Kingston police are investigating: the teenage girls Zainab Shafia, Sahar Shafia and Geeti Shafia, along with their “aunt” Rona Amir Mohammed. Investigators are now saying that the girls’ parents and their brother conspired to dump the car into the Kingston Mills Locks on the Rideau Canal on June 30, and then lied to police in saying that the incident was an “accident.” The girls’ father, Mohammed Shafia, originally claimed that the four had gone on a joyride with the eldest, Zainab Shafia, driving. Yet Zainab Shafia had no driver’s license. What father or mother would throw a daughter the keys to a car when the girl had no license, and allow the teen to take her younger sisters with her? Does that not sound totally out of character for a parent?
