Followup on Smithsonian attack on Christians: Evil cannot exist in the spotlight of truth.

One day after it was revealed that the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. had a picture of a crucified Jesus Christ with ants crawling over his face and body FOX News reported today the image has been removed.
The Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery will remove a four-minute video feature that contains an image of Jesus on a crucifix covered in ants, its director said in a statement released on Tuesday.

Martin Sullivan, director of the museum, said the video by David Wojnarowicz shows images that "may be" offensive to some.
Regardless of the reasons or excuses why this blasphemy was allowed to be put on display in the first place, it goes to show how much filth is being financed by tax-payer subsidies to the so-called arts culture. Evil only thrives in darkness and whenever the spotlight of truth is shined upon it, evil cannot exist in the light.
In an associated event, one that illustrates the hypocrisy of leftists and Muslims alike, CNSNews.com reports that the terrorist funding front group CAIR, the Council on American/Islamic Relations, was all for supporting freedom of expression and did not join in the call to remove the crucified Jesus covered with crawling ants exhibit.

(CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper) “We don’t want to be in a position of banning art or censoring art,” Hooper told CNSNews.com on Tuesday.

“While we’re strong believers in the First Amendment and believers in freedom of speech, we always ask for common decency and mutual respect on issues of these kinds of depictions of revered religious figures – whether it’s the Prophet Muhammad, or as Muslims see, the Prophet Jesus, we would ask that people respect the religious sensitivities of others in these matters,” Hooper said.
While the so-called "Religion of Peace" calls for death to anyone who insults Islam or their Prophet Muhammad, they are all for supporting First Amendment rights to anyone who insults any other religion. We should all thank CAIR for clarifying this.
